The company was established in 1857 by Dwight Hamilton Baldwin. In 1862, Baldwin took initiative to begun Decker Brothers dealership for selling Baldwin spinets or the grand pianos. After that, in 1889- 1890, he took the oath by god to manufacture good quality pianos. In this connection, he took the brave initiative to build up two separate companies which would manufacture the world class pianos and organs.  The Hamilton Organ at that time started producing the cost effecting reed organs whereas Baldwin piano manufacturing unit started its debut by releasing high quality pianos for the music lovers.  In 1891, the Baldwin Company launched the extraordinary and elegant upright piano into the market. On the other hand, the grand piano was brought to the market in 1895. After the expiry of Baldwin, the company was handed over to Wulsin.

Since then, this company has been offering a number of sophisticated and competent spinets, grand and baby pianos to people. Baldwin Company has bagged numerous international accolades and prizes.
